We’re back this month with yet another way you can turn your iPhone, iPod, or iPad into a wireless, compact, read-everything gauge. But not only that, this particular product allows you to upload the performance tune of your choice to your Ford’s computer. It’s called iTSX, and it comes from the Blue Oval tuning gurus at SCT Performance. In addition to its wireless tuning and gauge monitoring capabilities, the iTSX also allows you to run your own performance tests and read and clear diagnostic trouble codes. How It Works
The iTSX communicates with your truck via a secure, Bluetooth wireless connection, which is established by plugging the supplied OBD-II interface into the truck’s OBD-II port. Once you pick up the iTSX app (which is free on iTunes), you can immediately start uploading a tune to your 7.3L, 6.0L, or 6.4L Power Stroke, or begin customizing the parameters you want to monitor going down the road.

Performance Tests
After you’ve programmed your truck, you can pull up the iTSX’s performance test options, which include eighth-mile and quarter-mile runs (recording both elapsed time and vehicle speed). And, if you opt to enter your truck’s weight prior to running the eighth-mile or quarter-mile tests, the iTSX will even give you an accurate, rear-wheel horsepower estimate. Top speed, 0-to-60-mph, and 60-to-0-mph braking tests are also included.
