Our Project 12-Valve fueling modifications gave us about 100 horsepower over stock, but made our truck smoke a whole lot more. Our exhaust gas temperatures also went from a stock 1,100 degrees F to about 1,500 degrees F. Despite this, we still wished we'd taken the fuel plate out of the truck or slid it all the way forward to achieve better numbers, even if it was just for a couple of quick dyno pulls.
