"Shaker" 7.3L Power Stroke Intercooler
This Jobe Performance "quick spool" intercooler is more than twice as thick as the stock piece and reduces the ducting length of your intake system by more than nine feet. The kit requires you (or a body shop) to cut a hole in the hood and comes with a template, but Jobe says custom carbon Kevlar hoods are in the works. The tubing is 4 inches in diameter and 28 inches in length and attaches to the 6061 aluminum bar and fin core through mandrel-bent ends. A 1,000 cfm electric fan is included to suck air down into the engine compartment to ensure it is snatched by the radiator fan and ejected under the truck. An expansion tank and super strong custom T-bolts are also included in the kit. The company is currently working on a similar intercooler system for the 6.0L Power Stroke and will be selling kits for Cummins and Duramax trucks in the future.

LBZ Duramax Cold-Air Intake
After six months of research on a dyno, Volant has designed a cold-air intake for '06 LBZ Duramax Chevy and GMC trucks. The bolt-in system draws air from three locations and includes a polished aluminum lid, silicone sleeve, marine-grade clamps, and a high-flow Proguard 7 air filter. When combined with Volant's new LBZ exhaust package, Duramax owners are said to expect a 45hp increase at the rear wheels! Not bad for just a few hours of installation time.
