The Grand Cherokee interior is a great mix of American SUV features and German car technologies. The Bavarian-style seats are almost too firm, but they're very supportive and comfortable on long drives. Most controls are easy to read with actual words and numbers instead of maddening international symbols (and, no, the diesel doesn't have a 5,600-rpm redline-that's a gas dash photo). The '08 Grand Cherokees will receive new interior features such as a telescoping steering wheel, a back-up video camera, and Sirius Backseat TV for the kids.
