Advanced Flow Engineering is already offering a cool-air intake upgrade for the '08 Ford Super Duty. With a maximum payload of more than 6,000 pounds and a towing capacity of up to 24,500 pounds, the new Power Stroke needs all the breathing help it can get. That's why AFE has created the Magnum intake system the company says has been dyno'd making 10 extra horsepower and 25 lb-ft of torque over the stock output at 1,750 rpm. The airbox is made from powdercoated 16-gauge steel, and the top is brushed aluminum with a clearcoat. Three different filter types are available: the standard five-layer, the high-efficiency ProGuard seven-layer, and the new easy-to-clean, oil-free Pro Dry S media.
