Angry Amps
The Mean Green alternator is capable of blasting out 220 amps of power at just 2,000 rpm. It's designed to bolt onto the factory mounts of all Duramax engines. The alternator features a tooled steel rotor shaft supported at both ends by heavy-duty double sealed bearings and the solid copper starter windings are sealed with high-temperature insulation. The Mean Green team offers a one-year unconditional warranty and predicts that its alternators will last 300,000 miles.
