Bolt-On Turbos
ATS Diesel Performance recently released the Aurora Turbo Systems for the Duramax '01-'04 1/2 LB7, '04 1/2-'05 LLY, and '06-up LBZ. This turbo kit can be ordered with either the Aurora 2000 turbo for a solid increase in horsepower, the additional benefit of lower exhaust gas temperatures and increased fuel economy, or the Aurora 5000 turbo (shown). The 5000 gives you massive power, lower exhaust gas temperatures, and extreme boost.
The manufacturer says this is a true bolt-on kit with the custom-designed pedestal that allows center-lining of the turbo in the factory position. This allows perfect alignment of the exhaust system so there is no welding or cutting needed. The larger custom intake system and intake pipe have been designed to fit snugly into the engine compartment using factory mounting points and provide maximum air intake. Pro Comp Double XX
The new '05-'06 Ford Super Duty 4x4 6- and 8-inch suspension lift systems from Pro Comp feature the dual Xtreme Pro Runner 2.75-inch remote reservoir shock. The Double XX suspension system features four shocks up front and two six-way adjustable MX6R reservoir shocks in the rear. Cool-It Intercooler
Did you know that the air going into your stock intercooler is 500 degrees Fahrenheit? That's why BD Diesel Performance developed the new Cool-It intercooler. Life-Changing Experience
Recently designed by Electric-Life, the stainless underhood harness kit will put an end to questionable Scotch connectors, crimp connectors, and poorly soldered connections, the company tells us. Why deal with a rat's nest of wiring? Simplify your trailer wiring by keeping it in an insulated, braided stainless steel loom. Designed to be a quick disconnect, each end of the stainless underhood harness kit features a custom billet aluminum housing with six-pin bronze connectors. Heat resistant to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and completely waterproof, the kit can even be used for marine applications, such as boat-trailer wiring and motor-box wiring. Just strip the wire, insert it into the terminal, and tighten the bronze set screw. When it's time to disconnect, simply unscrew the male from the female, and separate. AMSOIL Oil Filter Cartridge
AMSOIL recently released its new high-efficiency cartridge oil filter that utilizes nanofiber technology for '03-'06 Ford 6.0L diesel engines. According to AMSOIL, the new EaO-88 is the world's first oil filter cartridge for diesel applications using advanced submicron full-synthetic media. The EaO-88 provides an efficiency of 98.7 percent at 16 microns, significantly higher than the OEM filter.
The rigid construction of this filter is due to a polymeric center tube and end caps, along with proprietary composition incorporating special grade nanofiber synthetic media, enabling the filter to last up to one year or 25,000 miles when used in conjunction with AMSOIL synthetic motor oil.
