Why it's cool: Adam drives this truck every day, and believes that horsepower and streetability can go hand in hand. While Adam's rig runs 12-second quarter-mile passes with no nitrous, that number is dropped down to the very low 11s once he hits the go-juice, which gives him an additional 400 horsepower. On his very last run, Adam was well on his way to a 10-second pass when something let go in the transmission. He says the truck will be retired from track duty as soon as it hits the 10-second bracket.

Why it's cool: Tom's truck just plain makes more power and runs faster than a first-gen should. Instead of P-pumping the truck for extra fuel, he injects a whopping 70% methanol in order to make more horsepower. Before you go out and blow up your engine trying this, Tom notes he runs only about 15 degrees of timing. Tom also informed us that he still tows regularly with this truck, and that he gets more than 20 mpg on the highway when it's empty. Believe it or not, this truck also still runs a stock head gasket and head bolts, along with a non-lockup torque converter.
