The 10-lug 22.5x8.5-inch wheels are mounted on Michelin P255/70 tires and hide the factory drum brakes in the front and rear of the truck.
Under that bonnet is a heavy-duty 7.2L Caterpillar C7 Acert inline-six workhorse that is rated at 300 hp. The crew at Predator is more than happy to up the power to a tow-friendly 425 hp, which is no problem for the sturdy Cat. That turbodiesel power is routed through a dependable Allison six-speed automatic transmission and a 4.10 gear set. The top speed is limited to 105 mph-more than enough for a truck this size that uses drum brakes at each corner.
