The 12-inch Quad Link suspension system features fully adjustable upper and lower quad links with Kevlar-lined spherical bearings for maximum articulation and includes the Rize coilover conversion kit (comes with a Bilstein 9100 coilover and a 9100 triple bypass shock on each corner). The Panhard rod drop bracketry is heavily gusseted and features an adjustable Panhard mount. A forged drop pitman arm, as well as all other necessary bracketry, is included to make this kit a straight-forward bolt-on installation. The rear end is lifted using a Deaver 12-inch leaf spring package that incorporates four Bilstein 7100 shocks with reservoirs. The rear traction bar kit is also from Rize.
To keep the driving experience plush, the truck uses a Rize dual-steering stabilizer that uses Bilstein 7100 shocks. Wheels are an important part of the tough look of a lifted truck, and the 22x12 XD-Series Rockstar wheels fit the bill in sinister black. Toyo Open Country M/T 40x15.5R22 tires are wrapped around the wheels and offer excellent off-road performance while maintaining good road habits.
Performance on the truck was enhanced with a Predator Programmer and a Hog Performance 4-inch polished exhaust. Of course, performance is the key to a successful diesel truck, and Rize has delivered in this example of their work. We drove off-road with the truck after our photoshoot, and it is not only smooth and comfortable but plenty capable too.
