To prove it's serious about jumping back into the Class 3 game, Dodge is equipping the '07 3500 Chassis Cab with the strongest frame in the market, using 50,000-psi steel. This upfitter-friendly C-channel unit includes exclusive "clean" flat rails with the industry standard 34-inch spacing and all components mounted below the top surface. One of those components is the largest-in-class fuel tank, which will hold 52 gallons of our favorite fuel. A 22-gallon side-mounted tank will be optional.
Cabin
If you have explored the interior of current Dodge Rams, then you know what to expect from the 3500 Chassis Cab: more than 40 inches of headroom and 41 inches of legroom for the front seats. Both Regular Cab and Quad Cab models will be offered, and they are just as cushy and cavernous as what's found in the non-commercial trucks. Only the two-door will be available in the 84-inch cab-axle version.
