Custom 2003 Chevrolet Silverado Duramax - Relentless
 | | | Other than the fiberglass... Other than the fiberglass bed, the rear end is pretty basic. Buck finally managed to break the rear Gov-Loc differential at Bowling Green, but has since rebuilt the rear AAM 11 1/2-inch axle with 3.73 gears and a new carrier. The suspension uses factory leaf springs with the overload leaves clamped to the main pack up front and a set of Rancho RS 9000 shocks set to the firmest position. Buck's hometown track is Outer Banks Speedway, in Creswell, North Carolina. It's only an 1/8-mile track, but it's just five miles from his house-so he's spent a good amount of time there. At Beech Bend Raceway (880 miles from his house) we witnessed Buck make his first three passes in the 10s. His best run to date came at Indianapolis Raceway Park where he clicked off a 10.73 at 126.6 mph. | |
