Near-Death Diesel

It was completely stock when I purchased it last year with 24,000 miles on it. Since then, I’ve lifted it and added many other extras. I’m still in the process of adding more. I can no longer ride motorcycles, so the truck is my main way of transportation; although I do store the truck for the winter.”

Owner says: “This truck was rebuilt twice. It was first converted to a 5.9L Cummins in the spring of 2009. Then it underwent a total frame-off restoration from September 2010 until April 2011 to make it look as good as the Cummins engine could run. My brother, Ethan, did all the work himself but has since passed away. He always wanted to see his truck in the magazine as well as figure out new ways to get it to run better. He pulled it a few times and had laid a good foundation for the chassis but never got the chance to make the winner’s circle.”
