Dyno-Mite Diesel 3rd Annual Dyno Day
Dyno-Mite Diesel held its 3rd Annual Dyno Day on what started out as a typical overcast day in the Pacific Northwest. The sun quickly broke through, and the trucks were lining up from all over, including British Columbia, Montana, Idaho, and California, for their turn on the Dynojet machine. Owner and injector guru Lenny Reed directed his event staff on set-up, and by 8:30 a.m., the first rig was strapped down.
One by one, the rigs went through the shop like a well-oiled machine. The staff kept up a constant pace and was able to dyno 48 trucks by the end of the day. This event was well organized, with T-shirts, food, and even a huge cake to keep the swelling crowds happy. After the lunch break, it was time for Lenny to strap down his truck, too. Lenny's rig is an '02 Dodge with a '94 12-valve Cummins engine, which includes all the necessities, such as nitrous, Diesel Transmission Technology tranny, custom Dyno-Mite injectors, and injection pump (just to name a few).
