The 2013 TS Performance Outlaw Diesel Drag Race & Sled Pull event was held May 17-18, with the drag racing at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling Champions Tour Presented by Scheid Diesel at Jim Roberts Park in Franklin, Kentucky. Rain threatened to spoil the fun, but some patience on behalf of everyone involved and some scheduling flexibility resulted in another successful event. A dyno, vendor alley, show-n-shine, and Miss TS Outlaw Bikini Contest complemented the drags and pulls.

The Pro Dragster class win went to Jared Jones; the Pro Mod winner was Daniel Pierce. The Pro Street division winner was Seth Sullivan, with Shawn Proctor as the Runner-Up. In the 10.5 Index, Craig Briggs came out on top, with Clayton Peppard as the Runner-Up; in the 12.0 Inex, Jim Layden came away with the win, and Ron Stutz with the Runner-Up award. In the E.T. Brackets, Dean Sheldon won, with Chris Taylor as the Runner-Up.

Missing the podium by one spot was Upland, Indiana’s Kile Camme in his “All Nite Long” Dodge at 295.91 feet. Pulling a mere nine hundredths of a foot shorter was Fort Wayne, Indiana’s Adam Hallien in his “Wrecker” Dodge at 295.82 feet.

The “Bad Max” Chevy of Dave Carlson (Sandstone, Minnesota) placed second with a 290.85 foot pull. Third went to the “Gunsmoke” Dodge of Jeremy Tedrow (Delta, Ohio) at 289.76 feet. Fourth went to the “Cummins Killer” GMC of Wesley Kusilek at 283.19 feet. Fifth went to the “Superam” Dodge of Rod Tarr (Rochester, Illinois) at 282.51 feet.
