But we understand when some of you still feel left out. “Diesels out here don’t get the respect they deserve,” mused one New Jersey native. “There are a whole lot of us out here with modified trucks who deserve some coverage.” And our response: Boy, are there ever! With more than 200 diesel pickups and about twice that may big rigs attending the U.S. Truckin’ Nationals in Englishtown, New Jersey, we thought East Coast diesel fans might be all smoked out after one day. But on Sunday, we were treated to an even larger spectacle at Xtreme Diesel Performance’s (XDP) open house, where literally thousands of diesel nuts came to witness the show ’n’ shine and dyno competition and pick up some cool merchandise. It was as good as it looked, and everyone got a slice.
