There is no other way to describe the TS Performance event-it's the biggest show in the diesel industry. Year after year, thousands of fans from all over the country flood the town of Bowling Green, Kentucky, to see the very best in diesel competition. Every year this one-of-a-kind gathering spotlights how big diesel motorsports has become-and is still becoming. With a massive vendor row, thousands of trucks in attendance, big cash payouts, and all-night sled pulls, the atmosphere that surrounds the TS Performance event is like no other experience.  Since several inches of rain...  Since several inches of rain fell the night before the event, a few tow rigs had a tough time getting into the pit area. One competitor even had to unload his pulling truck, hook onto the front of his tow rig, and pull his way into the pits. |  In the pits, we spotted Robert...  In the pits, we spotted Robert Miller's new Modified puller, coined Let It Roll II. If the truck looks familiar to you, it should--Miller bought the truck from Terry Martin at the end of the 2008 pulling season. Miller took Third Place later that night with a 275-foot pull. |  Columbus Diesel Supply brought...  Columbus Diesel Supply brought a whole slew of sled pull-oriented parts for everyone to gawk at. How about a 5-inch-diameter inducer turbo for a Pro Stock tractor application, and an assortment of injection pumps, including a 16mm cast Sigma? |
 Unknown to some, at the TS...  Unknown to some, at the TS Outlaw sled pull, 2.6 and 2.8 class competitors are allowed to spray nitrous. Troy Wakeman's Duramax was one truck we knew of that was benefiting from a little go-juice this year, which may have helped him earn his 295-foot Second Place finish in the 2.8 class. |  Empire Diesel Performance...  Empire Diesel Performance revealed what it had been up to out in Iowa. One of two trucks at the event (the other an LMM Duramax), Danny Elmore's '04 6.0L Power Stroke boasted an F-1C ProCharger supercharger feeding the factory variable geometry turbo. |  Snow Performance was on hand...  Snow Performance was on hand and busy showcasing the benefits of water-methanol injection. According to its dyno graphs on display, an '03 Cummins common-rail with minor modifications gained 71 hp and 107 lb-ft thanks to one of its systems. |
