Redneck Nationals First Gen Dodge Truck
This immaculate, twin-turbo'd first-gen, owned by Tommy Martin, made 527 hp on NADM's dyno and ran a best of 8.42 seconds at 83 mph in the E.T. Bracket class. The old Dodge was impressive, as Tommy ran faster than his 8.60-second dial-in (broke out) in the first round, which took him out of the rest of the day's action. Despite this, the truck got a lot of looks from spectators. And after hearing the truck's story, we'd say Tommy has turned this once-junked '93 D250 into a real head turner.

These two 6.0L Fords were out representing for the Blue Oval crowd. Brian Luke's nitrous setup on his '06 regular cab (right) had to be de-tuned slightly to run in the 7.70 Index class. Brian told us his F-250 typically runs 7.20s in the eighth-mile and has run a best of 7.09 seconds at 98 mph in the past.

Redneck Nationals Team Green Dodge Ram
A windy day on a track surrounded by a lot of sand led to the Stuckey team battling traction issues all day. Despite doing anything and everything they could, Team Green's new setup was only able to make mid 6-second passes. However, in one of the day's more exciting side-by-side races, the green machine ousted Brian Carter's Dodge by what seemed like inches!

Redneck Nationals Chevy Duramax Truck
This was the first time we'd seen Russell Hilton's Duramax in action. Low to mid 7-second passes at speeds around 100 mph were the norm for him throughout the day.

Redneck Nationals Gl320 Mercedes Benz
Already having a strong presence in the 7.70 Index and E.T. Bracket classes, TS Performance also entered its GL320 Mercedes Benz for some good all-around fun. Our educated guess is that the 3.0L V-6 diesel under the hood benefited from one of its Luxury Series MP-8 modules.

Redneck Nationals Pro Street Ford Ranger
This Pro Street Ranger, owned by Wayne Robbins, was possibly the most unique truck at the event. Not only did it weigh next to nothing, it was powered by a twin-turbo 4BT Cummins that dyno'd nearly 700 hp on fuel only! In its debut drag race, traction and water pump issues kept the truck from running faster than mid 7s, and Wayne ultimately sidelined the truck from the action for fear of blowing up the little B-series. We definitely look forward to seeing it run again!

Redneck Nationals Dirt Tracker Dodge
Aaron Slayden brought his dirt tracker Dodge race truck all the way from Oklahoma to compete in the 7.70 Index class. With 7.00-second passes, he missed the dial-in, and although severe traction issues hampered nearly every pass he attempted, the crowd was entertained with his consistent wheelie launches.

Nearly 30 trucks tried their hand on NADM's dyno throughout the weekend. This '02 Dodge, owned by Pete Slayden (no relation to Aaron), put down just shy of 600 hp and 1,197 lb-ft with a small shot of nitrous.

Redneck Nationals Black Chevy Duramax
We'd have to give the best reaction time award of the event to Ed Wayne in his black Duramax. With .100 reaction times being his average, Ed pulled off a best of 0.0658 on his way to a 7.18-second pass.
