Although the truck used to work every day and has 251,000 miles on it, it has been semiretired to the show circuit.     Ryan Danylchuk owns this purple and Orange Glow '01 Peterbilt 379 Long Hood with 900,000 miles. He's based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and regularly delivers to Jacksonville, Florida. Look inside and you'll see a dashboard reminiscent of a Boeing 747, complete with multiple CBs so that he can listen on one and talk on the other. The button-tuck interior features matching satin sheets in the sleeper. Ryan took a Best of Show trophy back to Canada for the Bobtail, Limited Mileage category.

    Beatty Body Works displayed its two-tone green '08 International 9900ix. It's a custom truck that any owner/driver can special order. This one featured a cab lowered 4 inches, an air-ride suspension, fenders extended at the back of the hood, a raised rear suspension, a custom interior, 1,500-watt stereo, a 550hp Cat C-15 engine, and impressive Dynaflex 7-inch stacks.

    Bob Brinker chose a pirate theme in memory of his older daughter Amie who passed away. She was an avid Johnny Depp fan and his '02 Freightliner was created as a tribute to her. With 911,000 miles on it, this hardworking truck hauls a drop deck out of northern Michigan. Bob is very proud of his truck that was featured in Diesel Power ("The Black Pearl," Nov. '06). He captured Best of Show in the Bobtail, Working class.
