For the fourth consecutive year Edge Products hosted its annual horsepower-fest, Weekend on the Edge. The two-day event kicked off on a Friday afternoon at Rocky Mountain Raceway's dragstrip in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Trucks were split into three separate classes: Stock/Single Turbo, Modified, and Unlimited. After five hours of racing, the winners were announced. Collin Lloyd made a pass of 13.273 seconds in his '05 Duramax to top the Stock/Single Turbo class, Lucas Olson took the Modified class win with a time of 12.500 seconds in his '96 Cummins, and Clint Cannon powered his '02 Duramax down the strip in 11.820 seconds to take the Unlimited class win.

A dyno competition followed the next day at Edge headquarters in Ogden, Utah. Two dynos were used to record the horsepower and torque of 75 different trucks. They say good things come to those who wait, and the last truck to run was Richard "Mad Dog" Madsen's Cummins powered Ford, which spun the rollers to the tune of 940 hp and 1,519 lb-ft of torque.

This beast is lifted 54 inches, rolls on 49-inch Interco Super Swamper Iroks, and is powered by a 7.3L. |  Dalen Whitmore's '96 Cummins runs a fully built twin-turbo engine from PDI. His best run on the dyno was 518 hp and 1,152 lb-ft. |
