2. CNSMOKE
Driver: Brian Carter
Hometown: Sapulpa, Oklahoma
When we asked Brian Carter what got him started in this sport, he told us that he is a certified "adrenaline-rush junkie" whose answer to all problems is "more throttle." So it's not hard to believe this bad Dodge is his work truck. Although the Ram spends 90 percent of its time hooked to a trailer, it's built to perform on the dragstrip. Brian is a pro when it comes to hitting a dyno or running the quarter-mile, but had never pulled a sled before the Diesel Power Challenge. Unlike many converts who fall in love with the dirt, Brian said it was not for him. He prefers the extreme acceleration and high speeds that can only be found on the 1,320-foot track, plus his good-looking truck doesn't get a case of the filthies.
